My advice to you is meet and dive with some locals firts before yo start thinking about soloing.
Our waters are much different, in terms of tempature, surge, kelp etc. etc...
A buddy with local knowledge can help you gain experience before you take off on your won, which you shouldn't be doing anyway.. But we'll leave that for another thread ;-)
