Drop the term "solo" from your vocabulary. It's like waving a red flag in front of a bunch of guru diver bulls. Rather, use the term "independent diving". I'm one of those, but I certainly would never attempt a surf entry alone. That's foolhardy. Do your independent diving from charter boats. And why Laguna? Why any surf entry? Crap vizability up and down our entire coast.
