Can anyone recommend some decent titles or authors for books on SCUBA theory. Good, in depth, meaty stuff. Not the fluff in the AOW manual type stuff, nor guidebooks for areas.

I have a decent background in physics, and some basic anatomy and phsysiology (EMS stuff). I'm curious about the how and why of most things.

I've seen a couple of websites that were ok, but nothing really good. I wouldn't mind a website, but prefer the "dead tree" format. Mostly because I work on computers all day long, and the last thing I want to do in my free time is sit in front of one. Also because anyone can put up a website, but often getting something in print requires a bit more (peer review, etc.)

Anyway, your opinions and sources are much appreciated.

Thanks,

JRM
