I never understood the fascination with weight belts either,
other than people don't like to give up. Bad results sometimes.
My club will buy any member a new one if they have to drop it.

The mooring lines on the Yukon are great! You don't need
to swim far to find one and even if you're grossly underweighted
or dropped your belt you can do a controlled ascent nearly
anywhere on the wreck.

Has there been any move to open up or seal the starboard side
portholes that look like upward egresses from inside?

So how cold did that water feel? I felt a tad cold
on that wreck in August by the end of the second tank.
