Hi to anyone out there!!
I'm new to Southern California, and have wanted to take up diving since I was quite young. Now that I no longer live in the midwest, I can really go after it! Since I am so new, I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on where to go for classes/certification. I'd like a good quality place that isn't too pricey (big surprise), and I'm in the L.A. area. And once I'm certified, are there communities of divers I can join up with to keep active in the water? I am unfortunately doing this on my own, so I won't have a buddy to drag out with me whenever I want to dive...
