Guy's please stop this nonsense. Why would you go to 218' or 200' on air. You are advertising your inexperience. Please stop this. Colin is atleast trying to get certified and will hopefully stop going to 200' on air. This is an accident waiting to happen.

Tech diving out here is just getting back on it's feet after the problem on the Moody a few years ago. So please don't do anything to push us back into the closet. Go out, get trained, build up and then I promise you, you won't want to dive air to 200'. It's sounds macho but sooner or later it will catch up with you.

I've been on those rigs that you are talking about. I've been down to 330'. We did so on trimix, a buddy team, a safety diver, a floating deco station. This was the biggest waste of hang time I've ever done. There is nothing at 330' or 218' or 150' that you can't see at 100'.

We will be happy to dive with you guys but we will only do it safely. If you aren't sure how to do that please ask us. Or you can come to our tech club meetings.

I'm not preaching I'm just trying to get everyone to take a look at there diving. Advances in technology have made it easier and safer to go to those depths. There is no reason to do it unsafely.

I've dragged 3 bodies from the ocean, and I can promise you that once you have had that shitty experience you'll re think your diving.

Why not learn from the mistakes of others???

If you feel uncomfortable discussing this on line please e-mail me privately. But we should not be advocating deep air diving.
