Chris,The key on this, is that you need to screen your divers before you take their money. One of the ways I have been able to pay for the charters on the more Advanced trips, is to run the boat as a limited load and charged more per space.
You are right about the certification, many of the certs mean very little. In the PADI system you can be an Advanced diver after 9 dives, in the NAUI system you can be an Advanced diver after 11 dives.
That's why you have to screen your divers before the trip.
