I'm spending New Year's on a three-day trip on the Conception. I'll probably want a night's sleep before the 6-hour drive back north on the 1st. The only places that I've stayed in S.B. were at a friend's in Montecito (doesn't live there any more) and at the Red Lion (company/univeresity picked up the tab).
Any suggestions for motels would be great.
