I sort of agree, in a sense. Without passing judgement as to
the worth of a person (beautiful or not) I do think that certain
activities attract certain types of people. (Why are all of the
surfer chicks I see so damn thin?) Perhaps the types of women
who chose to dive aren't to your liking. To be fair, though, I don't
think the guys are probably any more attractive in general than the women
are. I'd be curious to hear what the women on the board think.
My theory?
I've had multiple instructors tell me that scuba diving shouldn't take work.
That if you have to 'break a sweat' you're doing something wrong. Could
that sort of mentality lead to [physical] laziness and therefore attract
less fit people (men AND women)?
