I have been a subscriber now going on my second
year - both through my GUE membership and pay
subscription to the online Quest e-list.

There is a nice mix of both technical and non-
technical divers involved in the discussions. JJ
writes some great articles that specifically target
the sport diving circles in how DIR is applied.

I use them both as resources for many of the
questions I get asked that I don't know the answer
to. The Quest E-list is nothing like the national
Techdiver e-list. Everyone, including George Irvine,
is rational and informational with their experiences
and advice - whereas the national Techdiver list has
degenerated into a shouting and flame fest - with
George usually leading the way ;-). That's the one
big negative the world sees with the way DIR is
being brought to the masses (and George has been
working on not being too quick to jump to
conclusions). If you met him in person, you would
discover that when off his turf (WKPP Project), he
is bark is worse than his bite.
