MuckDiver, the Poseidon Odin is a good deep diving, cold water regulator(it's what the USNavy uses for most of their open circuit diving). For the conditions you are diving in it's probably a good choice. But,it chatters in the shallow water and the overhaul cost are double that of most regulators(and there are not allot of service techs that know how to work on them).
In So Cal diving (which is not cold water diving)a Scubapro G250 or the Atomics (both US companies) are better values.
