Right, again. Tony was diving the most ridiculous home made contraption imaginable. There were pictures of this monstrosity on the ABC web site as they did a piece on him about a week before he died-holding him up as a pioneer of diving. Right. I remember laughing at the thing. Not so funny later. I think it was, in fact, open circuit designed to concur Tony's unquenchable thirst for gas. The weight, size, complexity, not to mention the switching blocks, of the thing almost guaranteed an accident.
To suggest Tony bought it because he was diving mixed gas is like saying James Dean died because he was driving a Porche.
