You really seem to be losing it.
So you don't see any difference between JW's post of last week attacking
some BBS visitor asking honest questions and his current post which might
be of interest to many divers? I have to say, I'm not sure just who I'd be
defending on that one.
You don't like Ken and what he says, but did he ever attack you like you
have attacked him? You say you never lead off an attack. You have said that
he stated that NITROX was dangerous, but did he ever attack you as you
attack him quite regularly? That really seems to be your style.
I advocate enjoying diving. I have written volumes about having done just
that. I wrote an essay about DJF which was about diving for fun, in
contrast to DIR. About 10 lines down, is a post about one part of diving
that is particularly fun. But you wouldn't notice those posts. They aren't
all about equipment and mixed gas.
I don't like people that attack without provocation and I often get in
their way... because I can. I tried to be nice to you when I didn't have
to be, because this bickering is un-needed and hurts the board.
If you don't like part of my email to you, why not post the whole thing.
Also, drop the Cyberdiver. We've avoided personal insults up to now and I
find that insulting, as you mean it to be. No, I don't get to dive
as much as I used to. That's a family thing and I have been fairly badly
injured this year. I've still been diving. It makes no difference. You, as
usual, are just fishing for anything to discredit someone who doesn't agree
with you. In the past 30 years, I may well have done more diving than yourself
and almost certainly in far more challenging conditions, especially if
you're as nervous about some hazards as you suggest. If you want to get
into insults, I can have some real fun with some stuff I wrote a while ago
when the Yukon was the discussion, but I kept those essays to myself,
because they were not critism, they were ridicule. Want a copy? Instead,
why not act like a grown up and drop the insults. Also, personal insults
happen to fall under the post removal category.
Really Mike, in California, the ocean is what a diver must ultimately
come to terms with, not gear. Maybe you just don't understand CA diving.
It's supposed to be for the fun of it.
Enjoy, seahunt
