Hey, call me stupid, retro, retard, but if you're right and I hadda figure all that time and depth crap minute by minute, fsw by fsw, my total focus would be on the bottom timer and depth gauge leaving me no focus left for whatever the hell I was diving for. So just gimme a gizmo that alerts me when I'm approaching NDL and I head back to the barn. Simple. I can hear the DIR dudes in a combined chorus: "Yeah, Farmer, simple minded". Okay, guilty as charged, but that's how I enjoy diving: with a computer and just me and the wreck. Another simple adage: if it ain't broke, don't fix it. After 37 years of active diving in every major body of water in the world, square profile and sawtooth, computer assisted since 1986...doin' my thing's workin' just fine.
