I just dove the Park at Casino pt last Saturday
for the first time. Vis was only about 15 feet
or so, which I am told was unusually low. There
was very little current and no surge.

There was a lot of divers there, probably more
than 50. I recognized at least 3 openwater
classes. I understand it is not unusual to see
that many divers there.

I suppose all these divers scared away most of
the fish. I did see some female sheepshead,
a few kelpfish, and blacksmiths. We did find an
electric ray at about 90fsw and couple of guys
tried to pet its belly and got zapped. (Isn't
there a "if you don't know what it is then don't
touch it " rule?)

I might caution you that the park gets deep fast,
so watch your depth, air, and time. Also there is a
lot of boat traffic outside the park boundry, so
be careful if you surface out there.
