I talked today with Paul Clarkson, one of the aquarists at the Aquarium of the Pacific, and he also mentioned Mako.
He said it could be a blue but also possibly a Mako, but he was pretty sure it wasn't a White. However, he also pointed out that the water's distorting the features a lot which makes a good ID difficult. He mentioned that if we could see the tail, that was probably confirm the ID one way or the other.
Without that info, I guess this can be whatever one would like to think it was.
