I apologize for butting into a conversation but I had a question about the use of you long hose. If you are emulating DIR (which you may not be and this may be a moot point) the primary is on the long hose and the back-up is on the short one under you neck. This could be the cause of you discomfort. It also may defeat the purpose of the long hose/bungee setup. The reg under your neck is for your use when donating the primary. If the long hose is used for the reg under your neck and the short is on the primary, you can't donate the primary and the hose is useless and gets in your way. It is possible that you have rejected the improper way to use this configuration. Maybe you should give it another try or maybe I am just rambling and nuts because I am on vikidin after getting my wisdom teeth. The latter is definitely possible. Glad you had some enjoyable dives.
