Yes the hose on the pony was bungied to the tank along with the regulator. Drags in the current believe it or not.

I had a 7' hose wrapped around the head and mounted to a backup regulator. IMO also creating unnecessary drag. I ditched em and to was easier going. It's not hard to visualize is it , the hose created a trap for the water and it slowed me down. I liked the 36" primary routed under the right arm this seems like a better setup. I'm just trying different ideas that people say work for them.
