you should mention the pickup. In my essay about my last trip with
them I complained that their pickup was too fast for me. I wanted to
hangout with the surface float and watch the other divers below, but
they spotted me instantly and got me. Just goes to show that different
divers want different things.
To clarify my question, which Brian offered a good answer to, is there
ever a problem with floating in a desired position with a back flotation
BC. I've wondered that since they became popular and this instructor said
that it was a problem for him, especially when teaching. For myself, I was
more concerned with when on a long swim.
