if someone says that an idea is stupid, that person is expressing an opinion.
if someone attacks someone else on a personal level--and either uses or does not use vulgarity--that is being unnecessarily impolite.

chris expressed his sole opinion (yes, even he
still has the right to do so in this day and and in
this country), no one else has to agree w/him;
i reread his post and no where, ABSOLUTELY NO WHERE
does he call any one person any derogatory names or
attacks anyone on a personal level.
