The story does not end here though…………. As Terry stated, the anchor was stuck on the wreck. But now the dilemma. (A couple of years ago, at this same wreck, at about the same time, the same anchor was stuck on the same wreck. Two DM's went in, only one found the anchor. It was on this dive, that an unknown enemy deliberately and violently attacked Terry. He to this day still claims that a harmless rock, minding it's own business lurched from the deep and attacked him) Do I let Terry back in to try and retrieve the anchor, knowing that perhaps this so called attack rock is still there waiting for him, or do cut the line and cut our losses? After much debate with the other crew, we decided to let Terry try again.
The minutes seamed like hours. Did he, or could he find the anchor? Did the rock find him, or did he have to hide, hoping to stay out of its mighty grasp? He even seamed to stop breathing at one point. I think to confuse the enemy. Finally the lift bag came to the surface, with Terry off to the side. Rhonda then checked Terry out very carefully; to make sure he had come though this with no injuries. The rock has lost.
