Glad you picked up on that post. It gives me a good opportunity to give you a question.
>There are alot of things that get more fun as they get more dangerous
Maybe more dangerous as they get more fun. Racing, skiing, rollerskatiing, bicycling, .....
***
Just a thought.
I have offered to write some kind of sport or rec diving guide.
While I appreciate that some people might want to see this, I
have been critiqued some for not producing it immediatly. This
actually surprises me a bit. It seems obviously that this is not
a project that is likely to be completed in a day, I mean, we
heard about the DIR Rec guide at least 1/2 a year ago and just
now we are hearing that there is a pretty complete copy now in
existense. Barring that I have extraordinary demands on my time,
I ask anyone who cares to answer, how long would you expect it
to take a single person to write a meaningful sport/rec diving
manual?
Enjoy, seahunt
PS. Message for Carol if you should read this.
You asked about a double standard on the board for posting profanity.
Well, I just took that as you said it and it surprised me a bit.
I thought about it and had a question for you or anyone else.
Where have Chris or I posted profanity or anything near it?
Remember, Chris posts almost nothing. Aside from me repeatedly calling
MHK a 'BS artist' a while back, I don't think I have posted anything
that could be called profanity. This made me wonder. Have you seen this
profanity or are you going on what MHK has claimed, including that we
are vulgar?
If you are going by his claim, then you might want to look for my posts
or Chris's infrequent posts to confirm what he has said. I think
you may re-evaluate your position. If you have found profanity in a
post that you yourself have read, please bring it to my attention.
Thanx
