I have heard lots of discussion about it, but I have never seen it done yet in an OW1 class myself like that, where you substitute dive computer training time for dive table training time.

It seems to me that some sort of orientation to dive tables, either USN or PADI or SSI etc, is always useful in order to understand what is happening inside the body and inside the dive computer. And it seems like more time given to dive computers at some level, either OW1 or AOW, is also useful. But who am I? Just Another Underwater Idiot.
