We know nitrogen is narcotic, the controversy rises when you mention that oxygen is more narcotic than nitrogen. Never heard this before and I checked my EAN training manual. Nope nothing there either. I'm always willing to learn so I thought to challenge that statement. We know that oxygen of very high PP can lead to CNS, convulsions and death. The doctor that wrote the article of oxygen narcosis didn't say myth he said fact or fiction. I'll take it from your writing that you feel oxygen narcosis is a real phenomenon? This was one of the more interesting topics on the board to me (besides the GW attack)so I thought it should be able to hold up to some spirited debate. There was a nice chart on that web page that wouldn't transfer on this subject, you may find that helpful.
