Calm sea conditions today - how's the diving

I checked out the NOAA buoys a minute ago and they seemed to show unusually calm seas. The Santa Barbara East buoy, which typically shows waves around 10 feet (and a constant gale), had waves 2-3 feet. One reading this morning was 1.6 feet! That's about as low as I've ever seen it there. Is that translating to good diving? How is the vis at the offshore islands?
