giving people the chance to suceed....will produce far more dividends than any collectivist experiment ever did. Yeah, give the huddled masses yearning to be free the freedom to pursue their way, moderately free of government favoritism to certain industries (corporate welfare) and leftist cradle to grave welfare policies designed to pursue unrealistic social ideals at the expense of the hardworking and dilligent. Give people a stake in their destiny. Let them pursue what they may. Let them know the value of clean water, coral reefs forests, tigers and elephants. Let the costs be borne by those who benefit. No argument here!
but you do realize, that the idea of a paternalistic welfare state whereby wealth is forcibly redistributed will not breed care for Ma Earth!
