bill, i can't answer your price query for the
refresher course (i'm sure someone will come
along soon and answer that one for you), but
i would STRONGLY suggest that you just do it
out yonder your neck of the woods--you have
a few weeks where you can get a few good dives
in before you hit our shores.
i just don't see how you can fit in a thorough
refresher course during your 1 week out here
AND get some quality dives in (remember, you
may have to abort on certain days if the conditions
aren't right to dive).
again, i think it's best if you take the time
that you have now, get some review from a well
respected and experienced instructor, and then
find a dm/instructor who can take you on a guided
tour out here--i personally would take the
guided tour w/a professional over any stranger
who claims to be experienced.
