I've been actively diving world-wide for nearly 40 years and have yet to witness a diver, myself included descending or ascending horizontally. It's been heads down and heads up, down and up. Feet first down? Who's brain dead idea is that? I would imagine that a horizontal descent would take twice as long to reach bottom than head first. What a waste of dive time.
