the damm scrubber mechanism goes foul without warning and you load up on CO2 and start to hyperventilate even though you are breathing nitrox or O2. then The Tunnel pops up. meanwhile your buddies are all doing fine, and you dont want to be the wimp that aborted the dive.
i prefer open circuit any day. you cant stay down as long, but you only have to breathe the same gas once.
belay that: with open circuit quad 120s you can stay down as long. dont beach dive with a rig like that however.
