I move towards DIR even slower than most (only due to abject poverty!) but I still like to try new OR different "techniques" and configurations. I have discarded so many practices and excess pieces of gear...Things I did not know were uncomfortable or energy wasting until I TRIED something else. MHK allowed me the use of some of his gear through an L.A. area shop and I found out how much better it could be! THAT headed me the DIR way...I knew of it before but once tried I gained a respect for the gear AND the philosophy. Thanks Mr.Kane. (and that darn msblucow IS the nicest person on this BBS!!)
