I am normally a lurker and don't respond to post but I have really grown tired of the bickering between you and MHK. I wish the board would discuss diving issues and not be a crossfire between the 2 of you on who is and who isn't doing this or doing that, SO WHAT, and please BOTH of you are as guilty of it for whatever the reasons.
But my main reason for responding to your post is to say I think you are way out of line. Who cares what the motives of MHK may be in reference to DIR - those who are interested in learning more of DIR have the opportunity to do so FOR FREE!! I don't believe anyone is twisting arms to attend. MHK and his cohorts are willing to give up their time to maybe make someone's dive life better, to me that's a deal hard to pass up. Even though I personally have no intention of becoming DIR, I still wish I could have attended this weekend but work comes first (yuk).
