No Mike, I didn't miss the point. I fully understand your complaint about bias. I think you missed the point about what *I* said. I said I appreciate that they are taking the time to at least try to bring this back to civility. Whether I agree with the methods or not is irrelevant, I agree with the goal.
I guess it's just my inclusive nature, but I really don't understand why you're surprised. If I walked into a bar and told the bartender "You're an idiot and tell your wife I said call me," I would fully be expecting some sort of reaction (and a touch more than just deleting my post). It's his place. This is Chris' place.
Here's what I'm really getting at...
- I appreciate the moderation. While it may not be as fair as everyone would like it to be, it's better than the alternative. -
It's a lot like being a sports official. No matter what you do, one side is going to be upset, whether you make the call or not. Maybe we all should stop fighting fire with fire, and start fighting it with water.
