Cygal,

It is obvious, that you were not qualified to even
attempt to do dive number 1.
As per your own admition, you have no buoyancy
skills, no sufficient comfort level to be at the
depth of 100 ft or deeper, did not inquire about
the nature of the dive and expected to be fully
taken care of, by the Divemaster.
They lead the dives, will respond to emergencies,
but it's you that needs to plan the dive,
dive the plan, monitor air and bottom time,
according to your dive table or computer.
I feel, that the ascent on the first dive,
compounded by the second dive, caused you DCS.
