There are many things I could/should have done, none of which excuses the DM from his responsibility or role during a dive.
A C card is what allows someone the privilege of pursuing the sport and is only a license to learn how to dive.

On supervised dives.
Since you obviously have ALL the answers, and would obviously be a better instructor than anyone else, I doubt you even comprehend the nature of a student/teacher relationship, or why I feel compelled to pursue this.
I just hope your daughter, wife or friend isn't unfortunate enough to attempt to LEARN the sport with this DM, because the fact that I walked away lucky, doesn't preclude the next person from losing their life, or worse.
More importantly since my first posting was a request for help, and you responded with everything but that, I submit, your ability to teach would rival the supervision and assistance I recieved at Aquaworld.
