My personal opinion based on nearly 40 years of active diving, world-wide: do NOT dive with a weight integrated system. I use a DUI harness system: 4 velcro'd pockets, each containing an evenly distributed amount of desired/necessary weight. In the rather remote event you have to doff the bc you won't shoot to the surface and if you have to dump weight you can do so incrementally, pocket by pocket, and not the whole damn belt. But it's an expensive rig, retailing in the neighborhood of $250.00 There's one on eBay right now you could probably get for a little over a 100 bucks. If it's gone, just keep checking the site, or put out a Wanted post on the BBS. And remember: there are no dumb questions, just dumb answers, and this ain't one of 'em! ;-)
