I'm in an open water cert class and this was our last pool dive before the open water. By BC has an intergted weight system, so I don't use a weight belt. We are at the bottom of the pool and the instructor is having each of us remove our BC's and them put them back on. Now I have a full wetsuite on and I have a good idea what is going to happen when I remove the BC. Sure enough, the BC sinks like a rock and I go to the suface like a ballon.

This has bothered me a great deal, what do I do if I get stuck at depth and need to remove my BC? Is there a way to remove an integrated weight BC?

Yes, I know I'm learning and perhaps this is a dump question, but remember, we all had to learn this sport at some time. I'm just trying to learn it all and come home to my family after each dive. Any help would be helpful and perhaps will put my mind at ease... Thanks
