"I have seen burnt hp seats, and burnt o-ring, there is a real danger there and that's why it's done(GUE requires O2 cleaning, read your manual). most of the rules in diving are simple ones, they are there to keep you alive."

Burnt O-rings could fail that is a concern but how about the hydrocarbons from unclean tanks? As in explosion hazard. If you have your tank cleaned but then go out and get boat fills then it's dirty again, isn't it? Thanks for your input I appreciate the different point of views. I'm not saying you are correct and MHK is wrong, he is proving some of the standards wrong, at least so far. He does fly after diving and PP blends unclean tanks with apparent success. The rules he picks to follow are different from the rules I choose.
