Nope, I don't have one and at the time I'm not in the market for one. But again, your view of them being the "BEST" is nothing more than your opinion and the opinion of others. It doesn't matter how many opinions you have on your side, it will never be fact.

So it is a design flaw then? If the angle of it is causing the chaffing that is occouring and removing the angle would reduce or eliminate the chaffing, then it is a design flaw.

You are not putting the grinder in the slot, just running it around the edges of to take off the sharp corner.

All I can say is you are getting robbed.

Not a new thing to me. I've read about it before and had interest in it for about 12 seconds then turned the page. I really couldn't care less about it.

Again, back to the marketing thing. With Halcyon selling DIR videos and DIR knives, of course they have a stake in this. DIR looks to be going from a 'holistic' approach to diving to another marketing campaign.
