You and I agree on this point which is one of my fundamental problems with PADI.. You are absolutely correct in that there are many PADI instructors out there that teach above and beyond the bare bones minimum that PADI provides for.. And ironically enough those instructors that take such initiative are violating standards.. That is one of my sore subjects with PADI.. They want you to allow the system to go on trial, and as such they dilute it.. That is what pisses me off..
