One of the managers (Mark) arbitrarily agreed up his WRONG employee (John) in the "dive" dept. Friday evening and refused to rent a wetsuit, first without a C-card (so I showed it), then without a telephone number, which is not needed either. This was NOT "Mike"! He IS a diver and has a grasp on the rediculous nature of a c-card request for a wetsuit.
They have the DEPOSIT which is three times the suits value AND what's to say the number given is correct?
I had to go to the LaCanada store and got one with NO number and No C-card (whatayaknow!) as it has been at every Sport Chalet for Years.
So...Is there a WETSUIT RENTAL Certification Class from PADI that I'm going to have to take for future rentals?
P.S. I rent for beach dives so I don't have to worry about rips and tears from Mussels and rocks. S C only asks that it be clean when it's returned!
