then I definitely agree with you, Brian, that the agencies are fairly similar. i have seen a big difference in several instructors individually. i believe it comes down to individual skill as an instructor. some instructors try really hard to do a good job, but they seem to have personal limitations. for others, doing a good job seems to come naturally.

some instructors have been around for a long time, and they have not upgraded their skill set recently. they dont even know what they are missing. other talented and new instructors dont have this problem, but might be slightly deficient on the experience side. i know one particular instructor who is extremely good at everything he does, but he makes things harder than necessary on his apprenticed staff, in my opinion. individual personality will also play a big part in what instructors get along better with which students.
