e-shark, you still don't get it, the reason PADI doesn't have hourly requirements is so that there instructors can run short programs. The more students they run though the program the more money they make (if you have hourly requirements it slows down the process). Many PADI instructors have rejected this type of class, they know that learning takes time, the short program do not give the student enough time....Again lets remember what we are doing, we are teaching people to become divers (divers use life support equipment to go into a hazardous environment)that type of training takes time.
