just some points of clarity.
socrates was after all executed for "corrupting the youth." the leaders of Athens did not go into further detail than that regarding his crimes. but if you think about the writings of his pupil plato, you might begin to see a trend of "corruption."
Aristotle is by far a greater luminary in philosophical and scientific and forensic thought than either Plato or Socrates ever was. so dont become over flattered about your hero socrates. you might eventually discover a major flaw in your thinking, and in your philosophizing.
how does this relate to scuba diving and Chris' BBS board? for that, it would be wise to turn to another philosopher, Jesus, who said, Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.
If you cast your B/S flag from CSU Fresno because you yourself think you are just simply without sin yourself, JRM you need to think again.
You have some friends on this board, JRM, including KelpHead and JeffB. Do you ever worry that you might get KelpHead or others like her killed with your own form of B/S?
And you have some enemies on this board, namely me, and you know why too. although i dont intend to fraternize with you, JRM, any time soon in the future, maybe you can learn one small lesson, for yourself and for your B/S flag from CSU Fresno, to keep your words soft and sweet, in case you have to eat them.
From your posts it doesnt sound like you have learned too much from your mistakes, other than that rapelling tubing doesnt work well underwater.
