Without a tank(s) on the backplate, adjust the shoulder straps to where the bottom of the backplate lifts about an inch of the lower back. Once the tank(s) are installed everything will fall into place.

The waste (spelling error just for Chris) strap should be horizontal. This is tough if you have a big belly, so just do your best.

The crotch strap should be snug when attached to the horizontal waist band but should not smash your balls when you bend over.

Two shoulder D-Rings should be in the clavical areas. This is where we clip our back-up light to as well as primary light heads and second stage when not in use.

One D_Ring on the left hip for the SPG and stages or large reels.

A scooter D_Ring in bellow the loop on the crotch strap can double for a lon-line attachment for the knuckleheads who like to fight current rather than drift.

One D-Ring about a hands space below the back of the plate for towing scooters, storing gap spools or reels, cliping your stored lift bag so it doesn't float away.
