George, I know you felt the same thing that I did when the news went out that two of our Carriers were scrambled out of Norfolk to head for the Chesapeake and for New York Harbor.
Too close to home, seems like, in one respect, but good that they are here to defend our own land. Not since the War of 1812 have American ships of war been deployed so close to home.
It seems to me that the major issue overseas is presently in the hands of the Intelligence Community, and then after the Intelligence Community has done their job, then it will be time for the Navy and the Marines to do their own work.
