I am sorry for the crews, but it is no bother for us!

Come on, they need to apply the same rules across the board. Passenger ferries to Avalon or fishing boats, there is a need to do some more work. I have no problem granting access to my dive bag and I am willing to show picture ID (Usually my Disney Land Annual Pass works) and even a C-Card. It is a cost of doing business in a wild world.

I am going diving tomorrow somewhere around Palos Verdes. I will keep my boat well clear of any commercial ships or administrative facilities. I think this is too bad, as we have always enjoyed a good evening harbor cruise. I worry that, at least for now, we will reduce this practise to prevent ourselves from adding to the stress of those who protect our port.
