Actually Farnsworth Bank is more like seven miles from the Isthmus. It is located offshore from Ben Weston Point. The last time I dived there, a pod of about ten Gray Whales swam by and one rubbed against my anchor rode about twenty feet down, less than three minutes after my buddy finished his deco and climbed aboard.
