You're absolutly right. And the guy who filled his tanks to 5000psi is nuts.

One thing that I have been disappointed with, mostly on boats, is that usually I end up with about 2500psi in my AL80. The crew fills to 2900-3000psi, but after is cools down in about 5 minutes, I end up with 2500-2700psi. Some shops seem to overfill a bit or fill slower and get it closer to 3000psi after it cools off. As long as the boat crews can fill it to the rated presssure, most of people should be happy and the rest need to get realistic and buy a bigger tank.
