A couple of comments. I use the blue filter here as well, except for a slight orange tint it works great.

Also, as an owner of a nice 1CCD camera, go with 3, it's worth the extra cost. I did 4 overseas trips last year, wish I would have done 3 and got a better camera the year before. The color is just much richer.

I've also learned that your lights are also critical to your success. I'm dumping mine and going with a better set. I think a good set of powerful, long burning lights are more important than 3CCD vs 1CCD. I find myself using lights on most shots except the blue water stuff.

Finally, you must, be able to pull your camera into and out of auto focus or you won't be able to get the "long" shot of the big stuff as well. My experience is my camera will start to search. What I do is focus on something and lock it.
