Depends on backlog, of course. Last time I took in 3 regs (that is three 1sts and 6 2nds) and I got them back in 3 days. No matter how you look at it they were ready for the weekend.
It is important to take you equipment to a place where the work will be done. Make sure that you can talk to the tech in case they see anything they want to discuss ("You know, this hose is looking a little worn under the plastic doo-hickie".)
Far too many places send stuff out and take no responsibility for the overall job.
